Very quiet location. Well presented and spotlessly clean. I think a mop for the kitchen would have been useful as we had rainy weather at times. Stunning views from the cottage and lots of walking within easy reach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Clean, bright, quiet, rural and homely. 😀 - Location a little remote and very quiet. Very clean. Easy and comfy. A lovely intro pack about the area. 😞 - Couldn't close the front gate and it would have been good to be able to use front without a lead. But we were happy anyway and it was lovely.

My partner, toddler, dog and I have just returned from a few days at Outlook Cottage and enjoyed our stay. The property has a generous living area and kitchen, is well-equipped, and has a good sized patio – with great views to Bamburgh Castle. It's fairly secluded (but peaceful) in terms of location with a drive to all amenities, which is to note if you're travelling with young kids etc. That being said, there's plenty within a 20 minute drive including the castles, beaches, Seahouses and Beadnell, and a few nice pubs. My two minor negatives are the noise outside the primary bedroom window (presumably a heat pump of some sort) and the fact that the heating can't be adjusted. Outlook's got plenty of labels and notes around in case you're not sure how to lock a door or open the windows 😉

Peter and I, and our dog, Lucy loved the peaceful setting of the cottage, and the spectacular views across to Bamburgh Castle, and it was in easy reach of the beaches, which Lucy loved.

Rachel was very proactive and kept in touch n the run up to our stay. Her instructions were clear and easy to follow. The cottage was fantastic. Exactly as described and was a lovely haven of peace and quiet for us, our 2 young children and young dog. We all loved the walks in the fields and in the surrounding countryside. The location was perfect for us. It had the right amount of “country living” whilst still being around 20 mins drive from all of the main tourist areas. The weather was fantastic which also helped. We had a great time. Thank you for making it run so smoothly. We definitely intend on coming back and may try to book the Outlook cottage next door next time. Thanks again Rachel.

This is a beautiful, safe, peaceful, immaculate, perfectly located, perfectly sized, comfortable and cosy cottage. It’s in the perfect location to explore Northumberland, and even though we know Northumberland well, Rachel’s books of tips and place to explore still proved massively useful. Rachael was also very responsive for the little extras we needed, even though it was Easter weekend. Thank you Rachael, I’m sure we’ll be back.

Me and my wife had a great four days in Northumberland. The accommodation was ideal for what we wanted for our holiday. The views out to sea are the highlight of the property in my opinion. Outlook is very handily located for the surrounding villages and towns too! I would recommend this property to any of my friends or family looking to visit Northumberland.
